First of all, allow me to apologize for the lack of posts on the blog lately. My schedule has been crazy with work and other projects. But I’ll definitely try to get some posts up on the blog on a regular schedule. But enough of that, let’s talk about what you came here for. The Forza Horizon demo!
Since Forza Horizon is an open world game, I’m expecting the demo to give us maybe a quarter or less of the actual map. After all, that’s the amount most open world demos give you. And I’ll be perfect fine with that as long as they give us some gameplay to back it up. And please let me have freeroam in the demo!
As far as cars go I’d like to see at least 4 or 5 in the demo. For example, a low level starter car, a couple of midrange sports cars, and off-road based car and a supercar. If they give us that lineup in the demo I’ll definitely be happy with it.
Something that one of my friends pointed out is that he would love to have online multiplayer in the demo. I hadn’t thought about it until he mentioned it but I can definitely see where he’s coming from. After all online demos (if they’re good) do a great job of selling the game. And if I can freeroam with friends in the demo, you know what I’ll be playing until the full game comes out.
As far as features I’m expecting to see something along the lines of what we saw at Eurogamer. Something along the lines of one or two races, an off-road race and one of the showcase races where you race against an airplane. No matter what they include in the demo you can be sure I’ll be playing it regardless.
